Usage Information & Notifications
Like most mobile apps, Lakeview Golf collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that mobile devices typically make available, such as unique device identifiers, notification opt-in status, enabled notification channels, the date and time of app launches, and IP addresses. Lakeview Golf does not use IP addresses or device identifiers to identify visitors, however, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Lakeview Golf allows users to interact with our course in ways that requires Lakeview Golf to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Lakeview Golf gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, in some cases we ask visitors to create accounts requiring the creation of a username and password. In other cases tee times and orders can be completed without accounts in which case we ask for names and email addresses.
Crash logs are gathered at user’s discretion in order to help fix bugs and improve our apps.
User location is used to provide take-shelter/severe weather alerts, provide hole-by-hole status updates/restrictions, inform of cart path rules, and optionally allows limited tracking for timely beverage cart deliveries (when available) and pace of play monitoring. Location sharing is optional, only occurs while visiting courses, and your location is only shared with course operators/staff. User location is never shared with any third parties.
In each case, Lakeview Golf collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the user’s interaction with each app. Lakeview Golf does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And users can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain app-related activities, like booking a tee time.
Protection of Personally-Identifying Information
Lakeview Golf discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of project administrators, employees, contractors, and affiliated golf courses that (i) need to know that information in order to provide services on behalf of users, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others.
Lakeview Golf will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to interface with golf courses as described above. Lakeview Golf discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only when required to do so by law.
Use of Personal Information
Your personal information is provided only to the golf courses in which you interact with.
We will not sell or lease your personal information to third parties unless we are required by law to do so.
